Eva Mendes is both an actor and a model. The talent agent who spotted her and recognized her abilities convinced her to go into the industry of entertainment. After many hours of thought and reflection, she decided to leave the university to pursue a career within the entertainment business. In the movie Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror she debuted in a shaky performance. It took her quite a long time to perfect her acting abilities and appeared in a variety of low-budget films in order to demonstrate her abilities. It was not an easy road for this actress but her sheer willpower and determination earned her acclaim. In the film Training Day she gained fame and received positive reviews.
